This recipe was given to me a few years ago when I got married. We have fixed it numerous times since then, adding as we saw fit. Our end result is wonderful and a kid pleaser. We had this for dinner last night and both boys asked for seconds.
1 bottle BBQ sauce
3 to 4 pound pork loin roast OR beef chuck roast
2 tablespoons Cider or Red Wine Vinegar
1/4 cup BBQ seasonings (I use KC Masterpiece mostly)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 small onion - diced
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce (I omitted this last night because I was out)
1 teaspoon chili powder
Combine all ingredients except roast in medium bowl. Mix well. Add half of mixture to bottom of slow cooker. Add roast and top with remaining sauce. Cook on low for 6 hours or until meat pulls apart easily with forks. Serve and enjoy.
