(Pizza Braid with a Parmesan cheese mix on top)
This is a holiday weekend which means it's busy, busy, busy! Yesterday we went to visit my mother in law and hubby's uncle. At his uncle's house, we had dinner - sandwiches - and rode four wheelers all night. The boys even got to ride in a bulldozer. They had such a great time! We also visited my family for a while. Tonight, we went to my aunt's house for a labor day party. I brought zucchini bread and chips & home made salsa. Yum!
This upcoming week is busy for us too. We have a few appointments throughout the week, and I know the week will be messed up for me because of the three day weekend. Monday is A's birthday, Tuesday is my parents anniversary, Wednesday we have an appointment, Thursday we have a playgroup, Friday A and I are going yardsaling (all the yard sales I talked about last week are actually next weekend), and Saturday is A's birthday party. And there's football and school thrown in there! I'm hoping to have time to get some recipes up - I have a homemade fruit roll-up recipe I want to share, as well as homemade ketchup!
Last week, our meals were really good. I made green bean casserole using fresh green beans and it was great. We didn't have grilled chicken salad, we had a ham and pineapple pizza instead. We also had pizza braid and it was fabulous. Hubby has requested a bunch of his favorite meals this week, and I was happy to know that I have all of the ingredients on hand. We are starting eat from the freezer challenge. I am not planning on buying any meat at all for the next month. We are getting half a cow in October and I really need to clean out the freezer!
Chicken Fajitas (carry over from last week)
