Our New Years Eve 2010

I wanted to share with you a few of the traditions we've started this New Years Eve. Our boys are 5 and 2 and we decided to let them stay up until they crashed. I thought A would crash much earlier than 12:00 but he surprised me, staying awake and happy the whole time.

We had such a blast together, we are going to make [some of] this night part of our family night. Obviously the part that will not be a regular part of family game night will be staying up til midnight and getting up at 6 am. No thank you. :)

We did a chocolate fondue. It was sooooo much fun! We had marsh mellows, strawberries, bananas and near the end of the chocolate, pretzels! I thought the strawberries and the marshmellows would be the hit, but the bananas tasted the best.

We played a lot of Wii   Boxing is their favorite and it's so funny to watch them play!

We also played lots of games - Don't Spill the Beans, Hi Ho Cherry O, and Connect 4, just to name a few.

I can't wait until our next family night!
