Here lately, I have been making bread every other day. I've been playing with different recipes, trying to find one we enjoy the most. Tonight, I made this one and there wasn't much left after the meal.
You'll need:
1 cup whole wheat flour
3 1/4 white whole wheat flour
1/4 cup dry milk powder
2 tsp salt
2 tsp olive oil
2 tsp honey
1 1/2 tsp yeast
1 1/2 cup warm water
Combine water and yeast in a medium bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes, or until mixture has doubled. Add remaining ingredients and knead 5-10 minutes. Let rise for 45 minutes. Shape into 2 loaves and let rest 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Bake 25-28 minutes. Slather with butter and jelly and enjoy!
