I lost track of the days again... I honestly thought today was Wednesday until we showed up for storytime and the librarian polietly told me that it was held yesterday...

Today's recipe is Drunken Porkchops and I thought it was really good. It was really easy to prepare and the kids enjoyed it!

4 or 5 pork chops
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 bottle of beer
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup ketchup
1 T flour
1/4 water

Place porkchop and onion in slowcooker. Combine beer, brown sugar and ketchup. Pour over porkchops and onion. Cook on low 6-8 hours or until porkchops are done. Drain sauce into a saucepan. Add flour and water and stir to thicken. Serve over rice, potatoes or noodles.

  1. Thanks for hosting! Those pork chops look great--always looking for crockpot recipes since I don't take advantage of mine enough.
